COVID 19 Update
We are living in unprecedented times and we're learning about this virus every day. We feel it's important for all of us- our employees and clients- to be able to stay at home and support their family, friends and loved ones.
We will following the "Stay Home-Stay Healthy Order" and all onsite work will be suspended until midnight April 8. Skyline's office personnel will continue working from home.
On March 23, 2020 “Stay Home – Stay Healthy Order”, Governor Inslee ordered all non-essential business to cease operations as soon as possible, but in no event later than midnight on March 25, 2020. This mandated closure is in effect through midnight on April 8, 2020, subject to further extension as determined by the Governor. On Wednesday evening, March 25, Governor Inslee issued a further statement regarding this order’s specific application to construction, which noted that “in general, commercial and residential construction is not authorized . . . .” Under Governor Inslee’s orders, even essential businesses activities, including construction, are also prohibited from operating unless social distancing and sanitation measures can be implemented in accordance with the United State Department of Labor’s Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19 and the Washington State Department of Health’s Workplace and Employer Resources & Recommendations.
Skyline will continue work on our essential and critical healthcare projects that will have an immediate, significant impact on maintaining and improving our healthcare system. Skyline’s essential resources and PPE are being reallocated to those projects in an effort to maintain progress while complying with social distancing and sanitation protocols.
Further actions will be determined based upon future guidance and directives from federal and state authorities, including Governor Inslee’s Stay Home – Stay Healthy Orders and any amendments to the same.
